I have been slacking really bad lately. So here is an update on the Coltrin's. CJ is loving pre-school. He has the best teacher ever. For Halloween this year he wanted to be tiger again and the costume fit him from last year so that was really nice and he wanted Payten to be a bee. So we got her a bee outfit. Don't think she really cared what she was. :) CJ had so much fun going from door to door. He did not want to stop. So we had a good Halloween. Also is October me and my sister and some girlfriends ran the prison break race. Cala and I did the 10k. It was so cold that day and we didn't do as well as we wanted too, but hey we finished and that is all that matters. At least that is what I'm telling myself. :)

Payten turned one on November 17th. I can't believe that my baby is one. This last year has gone by so fast. She is such a good baby and we love having her in our family. CJ loves his sissy so much. Sometimes a little to much. Now that she is getting bigger and army crawling all over the place it is so much fun to watch them play together. Aunt Ang made her a little princess cake this year. It was so cute. Payten of course loved her cake. She loves food.

Then on November 28th Karlene got married to an awesome guy who the family loves so much. She looked so beautiful that day and we are so happy for the two of them. It will be weird not having her live with us anymore and I know CJ will miss having her and Vaughn over. He was their little shadow. :) So all is well with us this year and we fill so blessed at this time of year. We are so thankful for all that we have. So here are some pictures to enjoy.

So CJ had his first day of preschool on Tuesday and of course he didn't want his picture taken so I didn't get one, but today was his second day and he wanted his picture take so I got a really cute picture of him. He is enjoying preschool and I think it will be so good for him. Payten is now 10 months and as CJ says " she getting bigger and bigger". So loves to eat and you can tell. Here are some pictures of them. Not much had happened this month which is nice. So enjoy the pictures.

Fair & Camping

So this last week has been a lot of fun for us. On Monday we went to the Fair. It was family day so we took the kids and had a lot of fun. Our niece Amanda came and Cade's dad and his wife came too. Plus we hooked up with my sister and her hubby. It was a lot of fun and CJ had a blast on all the rides. It was good family time. Then this weekend we went camping in Cascade with my sister and her family and her husbands brother and wife. I was a little worried. Cade doesn't really like to travel because CJ doesn't do to well when we travel. Plus we have never camped with a baby so we were a little nervous, but all went well. CJ had a blast and the kids slept the whole night through and for the most part the weather wasn't too bad. It was fun and we will for sure do a lot more next summer. The camp site had a ton of bee which was so annoying and out of all the people to get stung my poor little baby girl got stung right by her ear, but she was a trooper and was fine after 10 minutes. She is such an angel. Then my brother and his wife and family came to our camp site for Saturday afternoon. It was crazy him and his family were camping in cascade too about 45 minutes away from us so they meet up with us Saturday afternoon and left at dinner time. The kids had a ball. So it was a good experience and we had fun.

9 Months

Payten is now nine months. It is crazy how time flies. She is such a good girl. She has 2 teeth that came in the first part of July and more working their way. I took her to her nine month appointment. Here are her stats

Weight: 19 lbs 12 oz. 75%

Height: 27 1/2 50%

Head Circumference: 17 3/4 90%

She is a very health baby. She loves to eat anything. Which is so nice because C.J. is so picky it drives me crazy. C.J. starts preschool on September 15. I can't believe my little man is that big. We are way excited and so is he. Here are some pictures.

Summer Fun!

Well, I just love the summer. So much you can do and I love the heat. Over the last month or so we have had some fun stuff. In June I took CJ and Payten to Eagle Island with some family and friends and CJ had fun playing in the sand. CJ has been afraid of the water since he was one. He will not get in it. So at Eagle Island he played with the sand instead and watch friends and family play in the water. We also went to Meridian Dairy days and he rode some rides. He had so much fun riding the rides. We also started potty training in June and he is doing really well. So good bye diapers hello and underwear. I'm so proud of him. The first couple of week we had some accidents, but nothing too bad. Now we maybe have one a week if that. In July we had a family reunion and it was so much fun. That is when we had a break through with CJ. He decided that he wanted to go swimming and had so much fun. So now he loves to play in the water. Which is nice. Last week we went to Cascade for the weekend with Cade family and had a lot of fun. I'm so bad I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures. So we are enjoying our summer.

So yes I have been a slacker. Well, here is an update on the Coltrin's. In May I ran the Race for the Cure with Robyn, Cala and Karlene. It was great. I had only been running for a couple of weeks out side and the race was 5k. It felt so good and I had a blast. I was so glad that I did it. It motivated me to want to run more out side and do more longer races. Then the next weekend Cade ran a half marathon. He trained in 5 weeks with Dan our brother-in-law. Cade was an animal. He did so good. I was so proud of him. It killed his body. Way to go BABE. :) Then the next weekend we headed to Utah. We went there to take CJ to Thomas the Train in Heber City. He had so much fun. He is really into trains right now. We also went to the Hoggle Zoo which was a lot of fun. CJ and Payten both did really well on the trip. So May was a pretty busy month for us. It was nice. Payten is now 7 months. It is crazy how time flies by. She is a good baby, but her attitude is coming out more. CJ is a good big brother. He loves his sister so much. Sometime too much. :) CJ is at the age where he thinks he know everything. :) He is being such a burger about pottying training. He should have been out of diapers oh 6 months ago, but he doesn't want anything to do with the toilet. Hopefully by the end of the summer we can get him into his big boy underwear. Wish me lucky. :) We are so excited it is summer and hopefully the weather will get nicer. All in all we are doing really well. Here are some picture over the last 2 months.

So I have been slacking on blogging. So here is a little update. CJ birthday was on March 30 and he turned 3. We had family pictures that day so after that we had the whole family come over and we had cake and ice cream and pizza. CJ had fun playing with his cousins. The Saturday before his birthday Cade and I and Payten and CJ all went to Chuckie Cheese. He had so much fun. I can't believe that he is 3. Time is flying by. He is such a good big bother and he loves his sister very much.

Then Easter came and we had to 2 Easter egg hunts. First we went to my dads and then we went to Cade dad's house. Then on Sunday we had my family over for Easter dinner. We were so glad the weather was nice that weekend. We all just chilled out side and played games. It made me really excited for summer. I just love summer. He are a couple of pictures.
